Our Team
Race Committee
Sebastian Warner
Meet your race director! Sebastian is an accomplished ultra-marathoner, having completed distances up to 100 miles and multi day events. He has qualified for the prestigious Ultra-Trail Mont Blanc. Despite these feats, Sebastian’s running roots can be traced back to this event which he has a deep love for. He once tried to run our marathon in an inflatable t-rex.
Karen Torrie-Racine
An original team member. Karen has been involved with this race since day one. Working for the MS Society, she has organized this race 18 times. She is now retired from the MS Society, but continues to be very involved in the Cornwall community. She loves to make people laugh, she’s always late and you should ask her what her favourite word is!
Rachel Poirier
Rachel is a new member to the race team. She’s run the St. Lawrence course several times and looks forward to bringing back the race to Cornwall after a Covid hiatus. She also volunteers as the Treasurer for the Cornwall Multisport Club (since 2017).
John Racine
This is John’s fourth year on the race committee. He’s run in it every year since 2015 and thinks it’s fantastic! He stays fit to be a good example to his kids and is working hard towards being a top runner in our area. John can be found at work at the Best Western, volunteering with the Kinsmen Club or running on the local paths.
